Rebooking

Follow these simple steps to request a rebooking for your ticket:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Visit the Barkota Ferry Booking website and click on the Manage Booking menu.

  2. Enter either your Booking Reference Number or Ticket/Control Number, along with the email address you used when booking. Then, click the Find My Ticket button.

    Note You can find your booking reference number in your confirmation email (e.g., BOBxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, BOCxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, BMxxxxxxxxxxxxxx).

  3. Your ticket details will appear. Select the ticket(s) you want to rebook by checking the corresponding checkbox. Then, click the Rebook button.

  4. Choose your new trip date and time.

  5. Select your payment method and click Proceed.

    Note A rebooking surcharge may apply.

  6. Review your new trip details and payment summary. If everything looks good, click Yes to confirm.


Common Rebooking Issues and How to Resolve Them

Ticket Purchased Through Other Platforms

If you bought your ticket through a platform other than Barkota, please contact them directly for assistance.

Ticket Marked as “Boarded” or “Checked-In”

If your ticket is mistakenly marked as boarded or checked in, contact Barkota Support. We’ll work with the shipping line to update your ticket status, so you can rebook it.

Existing Rebooking Request

If you already have an active rebooking request, you’ll need to contact Barkota Support to cancel it. Once that’s done, you can proceed with rebooking your ticket.

Payment for Rebooking Fee Failed

If you encounter a payment issue when trying to pay for your rebooking fee, please reach out to Barkota Support for help.

Trips Not Available

If you can’t find a trip for your desired date and time, send your request to Barkota Support. We’ll check with the shipping line and let you know if the trip can be made available for rebooking.


Rebooking Surcharge

  • If the shipping company cancels the trip due to weather or maintenance issues, the rebooking surcharge will be waived.
  • If you initiate the rebooking, a surcharge may apply.

Route Change

Route changes are not permitted. Passengers must request a refund and create a new booking for the desired route.
