Boarding Requirements

Printed e-tickets must be exchanged for an official ticket at the designated booking office on or before the departure date (or at least 1 hour prior to departure if exchanging on the day of travel).

Refunds

  • All Routes (Except Palawan):
    • Before Departure: Subject to a 20% surcharge fee.
    • After Departure: Subject to a 20% surcharge fee.
  • Palawan Routes:
    • Before Departure: Subject to a 20% surcharge fee.
    • After Departure: Subject to a 50% surcharge fee.

Rebooking

  • All Routes (Except Palawan):
    • Before Departure: Subject to a 20% rebooking surcharge fee.
    • After Departure: Subject to a 20% surcharge fee.
  • Palawan Routes:
    • Before Departure: Subject to a 20% rebooking surcharge fee.
    • After Departure: Subject to a 50% surcharge fee.

Minors and Infants

  • Infants: Must present an NSO/PSA Birth Certificate or any valid document/ID showing proof of age.
  • Children (Ages 3–10): Eligible for a 50% discount off the regular fare.
  • Unaccompanied Minors: Passengers under 16 years old cannot travel alone. The adult purchasing the ticket must present proof of affinity and/or written consent authorizing the minor’s travel.

Discounts (Senior Citizens, PWDs & Students)

  • ID Requirement: Passengers must present a valid OSCA ID (Senior Citizens) or an ID issued by PDAO, C/MSWDO, or the National Council on Disability Affairs (PWDs).
  • Booking Notice: Discounted fares are verified and issued exclusively at port ticket counters and accredited outlets and cannot be processed online.

Health & Medical Guidelines

Sick Passengers

  • Medical Clearance: Must present a Medical Certificate issued within 5 days prior to departure. Boarding will be denied without clearance.
  • Waiver: Passengers must sign a fitness-to-travel waiver upon boarding.
  • Special Care: Non-ambulatory passengers or those on life support must be accompanied by a licensed medical professional (doctor or nurse).
  • Intoxication: Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied boarding.

Pregnant Passengers

  • 7 to 9 Months Pregnant: Restricted from sailing unless they present a physician’s letter explicitly stating fitness to travel by sea.

Pets & Animals

Pets are permitted onboard under the following fee structures and conditions:

  • Containment: Pets must be secured in a leak-proof container/cage.
  • Baggage Exclusion: Pets, cages, and food are excluded from free baggage allowances and are automatically charged as excess baggage.
  • Rates:
    • 4 kg and below: Base fee of PHP 100.00.
    • Above 4 kg: Additional PHP 25.00 per kg (e.g., a 6 kg pet with cage is charged PHP 150.00).

Plant Shipments

Plants are accepted if a Quarantine Permit has been secured.

Luggage & Excess Baggage

Each paying passenger is allowed up to 2 pieces of luggage with a combined maximum weight of 25 kg.

  • Excess Baggage: Weight exceeding the 25 kg limit will incur a charge of PHP 40.00 per kg.
