Refund & Rebooking Eligibility

Before submitting a refund or rebooking request, check whether your ticket qualifies for online processing.

Tickets Eligible for Online Refund & Rebooking

Only tickets booked directly through the Barkota website (booking.barkota.com) or Barkota mobile app can be refunded or rebooked online. These tickets have a booking reference number starting with:

  • BOB — e.g., BOB1671542637111
  • BOC — e.g., BOC1677667464912
  • BM — e.g., BM1680045285683

If your reference number starts with one of these codes and your ticket is still within its validity period, you can proceed online.

Tickets Purchased Elsewhere

If you bought your ticket from any of the following, you must contact that platform or outlet directly:

  • Directly from a shipping line counter
  • A physical ticket outlet
  • Another online platform (e.g., 12Go, Chelsea Travel)

Barkota cannot process refunds or rebookings for tickets not issued through our platform.

Ticket Validity

Each e-ticket has an expiry date printed on it (the label name may vary by ferry operator). Refund and rebooking requests cannot be honored after this date.
