Trip Cancellations
If a ferry operator cancels a trip — typically due to weather conditions or vessel maintenance — affected passengers are notified via SMS or email. This is why providing accurate contact information during booking is important.
Your Options When a Trip is Cancelled
1. Full Refund
Receive a full refund of the ticket fare. Note that service fees are non-refundable. Rebooking and cancellation surcharges are waived for operator-initiated cancellations.
2. Rebooking
Rebook your ticket for another date or time, subject to availability. Rebooking surcharges are waived when the cancellation is operator-initiated.
3. Transfer to Another Ferry
We can arrange a transfer to another ferry operator serving the same route. Contact Barkota Support for assistance with this option.
