Minors and Infants

  • Infants & Children (3 years and below): Travel free of charge. A valid document showing the child’s complete name and date of birth (e.g., PSA Birth Certificate) must be presented for verification.

Discounts (Senior Citizens, PWDs & Students)

  • ID Requirement: Passengers must present an original, valid OSCA ID (Senior Citizens) or National PWD ID at check-in. Photocopies or screenshots are not accepted.
  • Booking Notice: Discounted fares are verified and issued exclusively at port ticket counters and accredited outlets and cannot be processed online.

Pregnant Passengers

The expectant mother beyond 6 months is required to accomplish the EXPECTANT MOTHER WAIVER OF LIABILITY FORM(available at the ticketing office).

The expectant mother shall submit Certificate to Travel issued by the Obstetrician-Gynecologist before they are allowed to travel by sea.

Pets & Animals

Pets are permitted onboard under the following conditions:

  • Permit: Owners must present a valid permit from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI).
  • Containment: Pets must be kept inside a secure hard cage (pet soft bags/carriers are discouraged).
  • Location: Pets are restricted to the designated vessel baggage area, though owners may stay accompanied with them.

Plant Shipments

If transporting potted plants with soil, secure a permit from the Bureau of Plant Industry, as it will be required for inspection by port authorities.

Fees/rates vary depending on the port and shipment details.

Luggage & Excess Baggage

Each passenger is allowed up to 20 kg of hand-carried baggage.

  • Excess Baggage: Items exceeding the 20 kg limit will incur excess baggage charges at the terminal counter.

Transport of Remains (Cadaver)

Requires prior clearance. An official Death Certificate and Transfer Permit must be presented at the counter before boarding.
